CEZA Launches CZC Alongside Apsaras

June 26, 2018 – At the Ambertime International Blockchain Technology Summit held in EDSA Shangri-La, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong,  Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) officially launches CEZA Coin (CZC) digital exchange and awards the Financial Technology Solutions and Offshore Virtual Currency  (FTSOVC) to both Apsaras Group Limited and Ambertime, all part of Liannet Technology Limited, a Hong Kong listed corporation.

Having CEZA spearhead the development of FinTech within the Philippine economy,  the awarding catalyzes the other developments and plans that CEZA aims to complete within the next couple of months. This includes the provision of additional principal licenses, up to but not limited to, 25 that will benefit not only FinTech within the Philippines, but also the corresponding company.

To formally start the event, Cesar Ching, partner of Apsaras, said in his opening remarks, “Today, there’s a rapid development of new platforms and applications using blockchain technology that will become the normal in the very near future. This technological revolution is reshaping and redefining the landscape of the world.”

With the more seemingly apparent development of blockchain in the world, this will drastically change the way we live. However, as Cesar Ching had quoted Dr. Huang Xiaodan, “Venturing to a new frontier, requires policy support and time to cultivate the market. At the moment we’re just paying close attention to what’s going on.” With the latter slowly becoming a reality within the Philippines, the former can be accomplished in only a matter of months. As far as the near future might seem, it wouldn’t be surprising to find the abundant application of blockchain technology within the next few quarters.

After the messages of several keynote speakers in the event, the awarding of the principal licenses, and the launching of CZC, the event formally ended with a forum discussing the various developments of blockchain as discussed by panelists from China. -Decentrist
